mafia wars hacks
1) Welcome to
Facebook’s Mafia Wars Game
In your facebook account, chances are you’ve been invited
already by your friends to join Mafia Wars, or probably you are already playing
the game. Still, what is Facebook’s Mafia Wars?
Mafia Wars is a fun and addictive game where you get the
chance to live the dangerous life of a Mafia gangster. It’s like the game SIMs,
where you can name your character with the “Don” title (living the life!). The
game is a level-based system with an economic engine, where you reap rewards
for making the right choices for your money and by increasing your social
network. Here, unlike in real life, you are rewarded accordingly with your
decisions, and hard work, and best of all, can be played with a few daily
invested hours to maintain and level-up your status.
In Mafia Wars, all decisions are final. You can’t even
restart the game if you think you’ve made a mistake, unless you delete the
application from your account, and let it expire for 60 days. Two months of
waiting, and that’s the only time you can log-in again and start everything
from scratch. And by that time, you’ll surely find it hard to catch up with
your rivals and friends. So be careful on everything you do in this game. It’s
no use to regret on any decisions, just make the most out of the consequences
and move on.
The first time you play the game, you are given your own
Uncle Louie’s Deli, and a bar with your initial stats that you have worked with
in the entire game. Here is a quick overview of the stats;
CASH
Yes, your goal in the game is to GET RICH, earn as much
passive income you can over the expenses you make. Your cash flow will come
from the jobs you complete and the properties you own. In the properties Tab,
you’ll see how much your properties are earning hourly, as well as maintenance
deductions. A note: Any money stored in the bank will not be reflected on this
tab.
HEALTH - Your HP will naturally replenish over time or you
can go to the hospital to regenerate your health in a flash. Your health is
critical especially in Boss Fights. This stat also shows how many times you
were attacked, and how many more fights you can engage in the future.
ENERGY - This is your XP stat and it is your principal
source of income and experience. Your energy will replenish 1 point every 5
minutes.
STAMINA
- Your Stamina is crucial when you attack, rob (Don’t do this at home...or
rather in real life!) or cash in from a hit on other players. This stat also
regenerates one point every five minutes.
These stats will be the basis of how you’ll level-up, and
all of what you can do in Mafia Wars.
2) Character Types in
Mafia Wars
There are three character types you can choose in the Mafia
Wars Game. You can choose from being a Mogul, Fearless or Maniac. Each
character leads to a Top Mafia ability with unique benefits that may or may not
be useful at all times. Just remember, unlike your Don + last name which you
can change anytime (for a huge cost), the character type you choose is
permanent. So choose carefully and live your life fully.
The Mogul
This character type makes you eligible to be a Bagman for
your friend’s Mafia Group. A Bagman has the chance to get double money from
jobs. Also, as a Mogul, your cash flow will update every 54 minutes, rather
than for a complete one hour for other character types. This is a good choice
if you want to earn money fast, but won’t be desirable once you get to higher
levels. You want to earn passive money in the future right? Unless you want to
be your friend’s bagman forever.
The Fearless
This character type allows you to be a Top Mafia Wheel Man,
where you can get the chance to perform jobs at no energy cost. At higher
levels, energy is crucial during fights and being a Top Mafia Wheel Man will
surely help you level-up faster. Also, this character has faster natural health
regeneration rate than the other characters. Though this is a great ability,
you have other option for faster health regeneration. You always go to the
hospital anytime to heal faster.
The Maniac
You are the rogue Maniac where you can regenerate 1 point
XP every 3 minutes rather than 5. This is the best character choice for fast
energy leveling. Also, being a Maniac gives you the chance to be the Button
man, where you can have higher probability of winning on fights you initiate. The
fast XP regeneration plus the Top Mafia Ability makes this character the most
popular choice.
3) Growing your Mafia Family
Mafia Wars is in Facebook, and there’s no wonder why
there’s a social networking component in the game. You can grow your Mob, or your
Mafia size, up to a whopping 501 members. A note, you cannot remove a member
once you have accepted them into your family. Also, removing a friend in
Facebook will not remove that member from your Mafia group. You can say, “Once
a Mafia, always a Mafia”. With this game rules, choose your players carefully.
Though the game only requires 16 members to play Boss
Fights, it is still recommended that you continue to increase your Mafia
family. The standard principle is at least keep your Mafia size equal to your
level. With more players in your turf, you can perform jobs better. You’ll also
need your people during battles, and
defending your properties against robbers.
Increasing your Mafia size will also unlock Boss fights and
bonuses from your Top Mafia Ability. It also increases your potential payouts
from jobs and lets you purchase Mafia Mikes along with other strong items you
may need. Mafia Mikes are very useful in increasing returns on investment
properties. With more people to work for you, you can perform jobs and
collections faster, get more special loot and cash, and level-up faster.
Having a big family is not an easy task, and you need to
earn a decent living to maintain one. When your Mafia size increases, you have
to bear in mind your responsibility to protect them as they protect and work
for you. You need to give them their needs, like cars, weapons and armors.
What happens when you have reached your Mafia size limit of
501? It’s not the end of the game. In fact, it gets more exciting and addictive
because of the massive power and force you can drive in battles. You don’t have
to worry anymore for not having enough people to win a fight. You can challenge
yourself by initiating fights with other huge Mafia Families and get the chance
to prove how good you are. Also, you can also aim for prestigious titles like
the Unstoppable, Napoleon, and a lot more!
Apart from all of this, growing your family gives you the
chance to meet other people at Facebook and gain new friends all over the
world!
4) Mafia Wars: Level-Up Your
Character!
Increasing your level in Mafia Wars lets you get more cash
and skill points that make you more deadly from your rivals. Leveling depends
on your tactics and decisions, and can be achieved by performing and completing
jobs. This can be a complex task or a simple challenge, depending on your mafia
size, current skills, game style and your available time.
Each level has job completion requirements for you to move
to the next level. Performing jobs is not an easy task and often you need to
apply tactics to finish it. It is also advisable to increase your Mafia size
because some jobs may require the right number of people to complete the work.
For every job you complete, you are rewarded with cash, some collection item
and XP points. There can also be bonus payouts depending on the size of your
Mafia Family.
For every level you go up and all your Health, Energy, and
Stamina are restored to their maximum range. When you level-up, any extra XP
left over is applied to the next level. With this, it is ideal to finish a big
job with big XP payout, to give the most spillover for your next level XP.
Fighting also give 1-3 XP points and this can be doubled depending on your
Mafia size.
Apart from the loot and XP you get for every level, you are
also awarded with 5 new skill points for every level. You can put these skill
points to your skills; Attack, Defense, Health, Energy and Stamina. In the
first time you play Mafia Wars, the game will give you initial points on your
skills; 1 Attack, 1 Defense, 100 Health, 10 Energy and 3 Stamina. After the
introductory challenge, the game places you to Level 2 where you are given new
points to distribute over your skills. Use these skill points wisely and place
them on the rightful skill you want to improve. The points on your skills will
define your character’s strength and survival throughout the game.
In most RPG games, we focus on maximizing one or two
skills. This is often called min/max, and you can apply this in Mafia Wars. You
can put every skill point you receive on one skill only until you reach the
maximum. Example, you can focus on maximizing your defense skills but have
minimum stamina. Your character becomes the ideal defense mechanism for your
entire Mafia family. You can block critical or deadly attack almost
automatically like a Bodyguard, but can only maintain your energy for a short
time. The min/max skill distribution is a proven tactic for winning group
attacks but never on one-on-one fights.
5) Mafia Wars: The Rich Slum Lord
To make passive income in Mafia Wars, it is best to expand
your empire and buy investment properties. Properties generate passive income
even when you’re sleeping and not logged-in. Cash flow comes to your account
every hour, or 6 minutes faster if you are a Mogul. It is highly recommended to
buy properties that give the best ROI or return of investment. This is similar
to real-life stock exchange; stock brokers buy stocks that they think will
provide the best ROI in the future. In Mafia Wars, you should invest your money
in properties that give positive returns to increase your passive earnings. But
if the number goes down or becomes negative, you’ll see deductions from your
cash account and you’ll lose money every hour. So be careful and invest
smartly. The best investment you can get to ensure huge property returns in
Mafia Wars is a Mafia Mike’s. Buy this property over anything else (it has huge
profit potential) whenever it is available in the game.
In Mafia Wars, every time you buy a property, the demand
increases and the market price for that property will increases by 10%. If you
buy an abandoned lot for $5,000, the next time it will cost $5,500. It is not
advisable to buy properties one by one, because the cash you get from each
property stays the same, even though the property value increases. The best way
to get huge returns is to buy property in bulk. If you buy 5 Italian
restaurants at once, there will be no increase and each will only cost $30,000
x 5. You’ll pay only $150,000 for all of the 5 restaurants. Whereas, if you buy
a restaurant one at a time, the first one will be for $30,000, and the next
will cost you $33,000, the third $33,300, the fourth for $33,330 and the fifth
$36,663. For the 5 Italian restaurants, the total you have to pay is $166,293,
but if you the 5 restaurants in bulk, you’ll only pay $150,000, saving you
$16,293. You are allowed to buy 10 properties of same kind at a time. To be
practical, save up money and buy in bulk to maximize your ROI.
6) Satisfying your Hunger for Power
You’re a Mafia warlord and you have to win or survive
fights against you. On early levels, most your energy and time should be
dedicated in completing jobs and making money. With ample cash, you can buy
weapons, armors and vehicles for your family.
You’ll need the weapons and armors with the best attack and
defense value as much as possible. Mafia Wars is a dangerous world and you have
to give the best protection for your family against attacks from your rivals.
When you are being attacked by someone else, the attack and defense values of
your armors and weapons are very important. But when you are the one who
initiated an attack to another family, only your weapon attack values matter in
the fight.
Swallow your pride and hold your guts, don’t pick up fights
with larger families. On early stages, ensure that your family is well armored,
and you can pick fights with smaller families. You can also receive money from
fights or attacks. The money you’ll get will depend on how much money your
victim has. You can continue hitting on a victim until he no longer coughs out
cash. If you receive no money after a fight, this means that victim’s money is
all in the bank. Robbing properties is also a lucrative endeavor, and the money
you get from stealing will depend on the type of property your victim owns. You
can start robbing others if you’ve reached level 15. The best places to rob are
5-Star hotels and Mega-Casinos, because they hold substantial cash at hand and
you can usually steal 6 figures from them.
An advise, bank the money you’ve got from robbing or
fighting others. The dangerous game style you play will likely arouse revenge
attacks from your previous victims, so secure your ill-gotten money at the bank
to protect your wealth from others who want to get even with you.
7)
Love those Bonus Items!
There are four job tiers to start with in Mafia Wars; the
Street Thug, Enforcer, Capo and Consigliore. Each job has three mastery levels
where upon full completion, you are awarded special loot. These special items
have bonus points or stats that can help you perform jobs and level-up faster.
When you are a Master Street Thug, you receive the Diamond
Flush, which gives you +1 Energy point. As a Master Enforcer, you’ll receive
Cigars which adds 2 energy points to your stats. To complete the Capo Master
Level, where you’ll get Paintings with +6 Energy bonuses, you’ll need to be at
least at level 34. The Consigliore job tier is the most difficult job to
master, simply because you need to be at level 55. Upon mastering level 3 for
Consigliore, you’ll get Great Race Horses as your bonus along with +7 Energy
points. These bonus energy points may not be much at start, but for speed
leveling, every extra XP point you can get goes a long way.
The most coveted items that can be obtained by Job Mastery
are the following; Helicopter, Private
Island and the Golden
Throne. You can get a Helicopter when you’re at level 55 as a Consigliore, and
give you 30 seconds reduction on your XP regeneration timer. A Private Island is awarded when you are an
UnderBoss at level 95, where you’ll get 5% job experience bonus. As a Boss, the
best item you can get is the Golden Throne, which gives 2X energy regen per
period.
The Capo and Consigliore require too much time and effort
to unlock, that it is often better to ask friends if they have extra loot to
share. You can let your family members know what you need or want, by sharing
your wishlist (Even though it’s not Christmas!). You can add the item in “Share
Wishlist with Your Friends” option you can find in your inventory.
8) The Napoleon Complex
The Napoleaon complex is a title bestowed by defeating a
bigger mafia family. In lower levels, it is not advisable to pick up fights
with bigger families. But once you are at 100+ level, you can start aiming for
this title. This can be successfully achieved by careful planning and
surveying. You can start by poking around for people who are part of a bigger
Mafia but are less equipped. You don’t need to initiate a fight to find out how
incompetent they are, you can just right click on a name and you’ll see on the
robberies tab the properties they own and how much they are generating hourly.
Generally, those with properties that earn at lower rates have families that
are insufficiently equipped. Also, it is usually difficult to equip everyone
with high quality weapons and armor in a large Mafia family.
Make sure you have the equipment edge in your crew before
attacking your target. If you still have a small Mafia size but believe you can
beat a bigger one with weak equipment, you can try the game’s new gift giving
system. You can borrow from friends a set of rifles, armored cars, agents and
other items to increase your attack value. After the fight, you can return your
borrowed items without any fees.
If you are a Maniac character, you can also find suitable
targets when you are promoted as the Button Man. As a Button Man, your winning
chance on every fight is increased by 5%. With this, you can initiate fights
and win most them, and at the same time, obtain information on a rival family’s
defense and attack strength.
The Napoleon Complex title is easy to get if you are in
higher levels, or when you have reach the maximum mafia size of 501. Though
reaching the limit makes Mafia size a meaningless factor, you can turn your
focus on other aspects like making more money and having the best equipment.
The fighting power all boils down to your total attack and defense values
against to your opponent’s. With the excessive money you can generate from your
huge manpower, you can buy special items to equip the deadliest gangster army.
Now, you can always initiate fights with families with similar size.
9) The Unstoppable
The Unstoppable title is earned by winning 15 consequent
fights. This is also the easiest title to obtain in Mafia Wars but it takes
persistence and strategy to achieve this title. There is no cheat code or
special item available in the game that will make you immortal and invincible
instantly. You have to win your battles with determination and consistency.
Don’t go head on to every Mafia family you encounter. The
first step is you scout for weak and incompetent players. You can ask your
friends to look for potential rivals that are members of small Mafia families.
You can start a fight with a Mafia family with only 2 members and easily win
the battle. You can also look for members that are in level 2-3 as your
targets, because they likely have no special armor or special yet.
In Mafia Wars, you always have 10% chance to get a critical
hit when you initiate an attack. There is no way to reduce this percentage
regardless of your attack and defense stats, unless of course, if you are a
Maniac or a Button Man, which increases your chances of winning a fight you
initiate by 5%. Knowing this, the best advice is not to attack any Bodyguards.
The Bodyguard position has defense advantages, a 5% chance to automatically
block or defend an attack. Unfortunately, there is no way you can instantly
know that you’re target is a bodyguard or not, other than initiating or losing a
fight. But you can poke around by checking your target’s stats. You can click
on their name and the character’s fighting history is displayed. Statistically,
if your target has none or only a few fights won, he’s probably not a bodyguard
and unlikely to have high defense stats.
The easiest way to be Unstoppable is to make your family
well-equipped and then find families with fewer members and less bodyguards.
Level-differences is not a winning factor for this title. The principle is; the
smaller the crew, the higher your chances of winning.
10) Mad for Skill Points
Apart from the 5 skill points awarded for every level you
achieve in the game, you can also get extra skill points from completing job
mastery levels and using the Godfather. With every skill points crucial for
your character’s survival in the entire game, you need to focus on getting
these extra skill points along with XP spill-over at each level-up.
Job Mastery is very important and has its perks, like an
additional skill point, special item award, and bragging rights among your
family members showing how much you have achieved. All jobs are mastered in
three levels and in each level completion. You are awarded an extra skill
point. To finish each job level, you have to master and complete all jobs on
the level you are currently at.
You can start as a
Street Thug, and then move on as the Skilled Street Thug, Master Street Thug
and lastly, as Master Boss. The Master Boss job level is the highest job title
in the game.
The Godfather (not the movie) is the best reward point
system of Mafia Wars. At game start-up you are awarded with your initial stats,
along with 10 Godfather points. You earn 1 Godfather point for every level-up
you obtain. You can also obtain rewards point by purchasing them.
Godfather reward points are the rarest commodity in the
game, so decide wisely how you spend them. Mafia Wars releases a new special
item every few weeks that is available for purchase for only 36 hours and for a
minimum of 25 rewards points. These special items are rare and exceptionally
useful compared to the best items you can get from a Mafia store or from the jobs
you complete. Because of the special stats in these rare commodities, they are
very expensive to buy from others. So when you have enough Godfather reward
points, spend it on these special rare items that will surely help you in
leveling and future fights.
The godfather can also be used to refill your stats; for
health, energy, and stamina. Using the Godfather for your stamina will be
useful during battles. It is not advisable to refill your Health and Energy
with your reward points. Your health will regenerate naturally over time and
besides you can always go to the hospital to heal. You can also use Energy Paks
when you have low energy. mafia wars hacks
